About Me

WanderBeard is the traveling nickname that I came up with many years ago, when traveling full time was nothing more than a daydream.

Original WanderBeard logo from 2016.

This is the original logo I made up back in 2016, about eight years before I finally went for it. So it’s been on my mind for a long time.

I worked in Information Technology and related jobs for almost 25 years, when I finally decided to change things up. I was tired of the same old, every day, and so that became a plan, which then became my reality.

I’ve been traveling now since early 2024, and have traveled a number of countries since then, all overland. Usually by bus, as I enjoy the scenery and watching the world go by.

I also have a YouTube channel where I update videos 2-3 times per week from my travels.
You can see that (and subscribe!) here: https://wanderbeard.com

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you find the content interesting, and I wish you all the best!

Life is Short. Wander!
